Description

This is a painting done with acrylic paints on a canvas board. The landscape featured in this painting is of a place in the Mojave Desert about 30 miles outside of Yucca, Arizona. I call this "Bob's Happy Place" because my brother, Bob, owned property here with a dream to build a house on that property. He gave up his home in L.A. and was living in a little camper trailer while waiting for the house to be built. Unfortunately, on May 5, 2019 Bob was in an accident that took his life. I painted this on May 6, 2022 while thinking about Bob. Perhaps his spirit lives in this beautiful part of the American southwest that he loved so much.
