Description

This is a painting I did on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Gold Head Branch State Park in Keystone Heights, Florida. Robin MacBlane and I visited the park to paint our 34th set of plein air paintings. Doug Smith came along as did my dog, Hu. The weather forecast called for a 90% chance of rain but we took a chance at having favorable weather anyway. The weather was sunny and beautiful when we first arrived but, because of the forecast, we set up under a covered pavilion so that we'd be protected if it did rain. And it did!
